🧶 Find Fibres for Your Next Project

  • Hand spinning: Explore loose fibres and roving for creating your own yarns. Check each listing for fibre composition and preparation.
  • Blending: Combine compatible fibres to experiment with texture, sheen and character in your spinning projects.
  • Felting embellishments: Use silk or plant fibres to add surface detail to a suitable wool base. Silk and banana fibres do not felt on their own like wool.
  • Textile art: Explore creative possibilities for layered fibre art and mixed-media designs.

🔎 How to Choose Your Fibre

Start with your technique, then compare the fibre type, preparation, colour and pack weight on the individual product page. Roving and loose fibres offer different handling experiences, so select the format that matches your tools and skill level. For a new blend or technique, test a small sample first.
